Our Story

Mande Surf School was founded in 2022 by Norman, a local who grew up right here in Kuta, Lombok. After spending 20 years surfing and teaching at some of Bali’s top surf schools like Billabong Pro and Big Kahuna, Norman decided it was time to come home and share the stoke where it all started.

Surfing’s been Norman’s passion since he was a kid, and nothing beats the thrill of sharing that passion with others. When he’s not in the water, you might catch him jamming out to some classic rock or kicking back with a glass of palm wine after a day on the waves.
